Summer Bishil is an American actor who is most well-known for her performance as Margo Hanson in the Syfy fantasy drama series The Magicians (2015-present). The actress gained recognition because of her performance on Towelhead as Jasira Marroun who is an American Lebanese girl of thirteen who is thrust into chaos by the U.S. military's incursion into Iraq. She was later named one of The Top 10 actresses in the world by Variety for 2007 was also an impressive honour. She portrayed another character of great power Taslima Jahangir in the 2009 crime drama film Crossing Over for which she was nominated for the Independent Spirit Award in the Best Female Leading Actress category.
